The 1/2 Room , is the original store room where The Cave is The Opera House's EVENT SPACE where all the craft nights, classes, art shows, fashion spectaculars, and live performances take place! This winter the merchandise will be expanding into The Cave too! Come and see the new floor-do inspired by micro organisms. The Opera House will take HANDMADE and VINTAGE clothing, accessories, and other stuff on CONSIGNMENT so, come on by with the goods! It is indeed a real live store in Austin, TX, a mini world of unusual treasures specializing in vintage clothing , original handmade goods, collectibles, curriosities, socks , and a growing selection of new and used music and art. The store is owned and operated by me, Miss Leah Smith, who single handedly created it. I can often be found at the desk in The 1/2 Room playing DJ, or rooting around in The Cave. 
lucky folks find buried treasure. Gals and guys play dress up for cheap with relics from the last century. Peruse the shelves for handmade stationary, vintage craft supplies, independant music, local art work, accessories, and one-of-a-kind gifts.
